How to Setup Privacy on the Security Camera

Purpose:

When you want privacy around the cabin, just turn on the Privacy Mask instead of changing any camera or sound settings.  Please don't adjust the motion, network, or sound settings - this avoids problems later.

Using the App (iPhone/Android):

  1. Open the App.  Tap the camera preview for "Cabin Duo 3V."
  2. Go to Settings by taping the gear icon in the upper right hand corner.
  3. Select "Display" then "Privacy Mask."
  4. Add a mask by tapping "Add Mask."  A black rectangle will appear - drag or re-size to cover the area you want private.  You can add up to 3-4 masks.
  5. Save your changes by tapping Save (Checkmark or Back Arrow) - your privacy mask is now active.
  6. When you leave:  Go back to the Privacy Mask Screen and delete or uncheck the Mask(s) to restore normal view. Tap Save again.

Tips

  • Audio is disabled because the Mic is permanently off.
  • Do not touch setting under network, detection alarm, or recording schedule.
  • If you accidently move or resize the mask wrong, you can delete it and add a new one.
  • Call Tom if you need assistance.  Thank you for help keeping the cabin system running smoothly.
